INGREDIENT:
1 cup gram flour
2 cup spinach, finely chopped
1 large onion, julienne
1 inch ginger, chopped
2-3 green chili, chopped
1 tsp fennel seed powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
A pinch of asafoetida
1 tbsp sesame seeds
Water
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
METHOD:
- Mix everything to a semi thick batter. The batter should not be thin.
- Take spoonfuls and fry the pakora in hot oil till they are golden brown in color.
NOTES:
1. The spinach and onions will release water once they are mixed with salt and the spice powders. so be careful while adding water.
